Tension is increasing with the passage of every day between issues of Russia and Ukraine. Russia has nominated about more than 1 lakh Russian troops on the border of Ukraine and Russia has started military actions and moment on the border of Ukraine. Due to this America and the NETO country are very much worried, because they know Russia can invade on Ukraine.
Russia has attacked in Ukraine Area Crimea peninsula in 2014 and annexed by Russia. Peninsula is very important area of Ukraine that gives access to Russia to hot water. Russia has occupied Crimea in 2014 by attacking on it. Therefore the western countries fear that Russia will again attack on Ukraine.
Issues of Russia and Ukraine
Now the question arises what is the main issue between them. As Russia has already occupied Crimea peninsula, now in addition what do Russia want from Ukraine and why the conditions between them are coming bad day by day and what do Russia wants from Ukraine. We have to see the history of them to know their issues.
Russia and Ukraine are two largest countries in Europe. Neighbor’s were part of the 15 soviet republics that made USSR in 1922 after Russia revolution collapse in 1991, USSR was tackled by Russia it was consist of Russia, Belarus,Armenia,Turkmenistan,Estonia,ukriane,Azerbaijan,Kyrgyzstan,lativa,moldova,kazakhstan,tajikstan,lithania,Georgia,iizbekistan. When USSR was created western countries specially America and Europe thought it a big danger for their dominance and stability.
They decided to stablish NATO to protect them self. NATO was made in April 1949 by us and European countries to counter USSR threats. Now I would tell you how the NATO works /
1) It offers protection of freedom and stability for members and their regions.
- 2) When one NATO nation is attacked. All NATO nations will retaliate.
- 3) NATO is funded by its members with the U.S contributing roughly 75 % of NATO’s budget.
- 4) NATO targets include weapons of mass destruction terrorism and cyber- attacks.
- 5) NATO protection dose not extend to civil wars or internal coups.
When America decided to make NATO the thirty states of America included in it. NATO was made to protect western countries from the USSR and it threats. America was the leader of NATO and the major countries of Europe were also its members. The main purpose of western union was made to defend the increasing threats of USSR.
First Ukraine was the part of issues of Russia and Ukraine and it was the association and it is also the neighboring country of Russia and it is the second biggest country of Russia after Europe and it is very important country according to region and search first it was the part of USSR , now it is going to become a part of NATO.
The USSR union was collapse in 1991 but its dominance was regionally still exist their USSR is saying to America and europium union do not try to make the member countries of USSR a part of NATO because all the Russian countries are lying around the Ukraine.
As Ukraine is becoming a part of NATO and it has also officially applied to become the member of NATO. Russia gave warning to America if Ukraine became a part of NATO Russia will attack on Ukraine.
Its big disadvantage to issues of Russia and Ukraine is that if Ukraine becomes a member of NATO then NATO will sit in the neighbors of Russia, because the border of Russia and Ukraine coincides each other and the dominance of issues of Russia and Ukraine will come down upon the Ukraine and in the region around it. If it so happen it also effect the sovereignty and stability of the region. Its peace and solidary will also affect badly.
There for issues of Russia and Ukraine is saying to Ukraine not to become a part of NATO as it is very important to maintain peace and solidary in the region but NATO is agree to make Ukraine a part of NATO of increase their dominance in the region NATO is ready to face for the threats of war.
Infect the purpose of both USSR and NATO union is to increase their power in the region at some extant Russia is on right. If Russia do not resist against NATO when the regional peace will never be maintained Ukraine should settle dawn its issues with Russia by table talking because war is not the solution for both countries. it will draw back and they both have to bear a great loss of lives and economy.
